“Catching Eyes” is a theatrical choir concert about man’s superficial desire to get affirmation and his desire to be seen as the person he truly is. The opening show was on May 15 2009 in Stockholm.
The anniversary year 2009, being Voces Nordicae’s tenth year together as a vocal ensemble, is celebrated by the performance “Catching Eyes”.
The music in the show “Catching Eyes” spans a range of genres, with composers such as Kjell Perder, Sara Niklasson, Johann Sebastian Bach, Einojuhani Rautavaara, John Rutter, Cyndi Lauper and others.
Lone Larsen, the artistic director of Voces Nordicae, conducts and leads the concert and Anders “Butta” Börjesson, who also sings bass in the ensemble, has directed the piece.
